8-Day Silk Road From Kashgar to Jiayuguan
This wonderful tour will let you explore all must-see sites on the ancient China Silk Road from Kashgar to Jiayuguan in 7 days.

Itinerary
Day 1. Arrival Urumqi
Arrive in Urumqi, our representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. 
Accommodation: Urumqi Sheraton Hotel or Similar
Meals: None

Day 2. Urumqi/Tianchi/Kashgar    Car & Flight
Drive one hour to Tianchi, Heavenly Lake in English, to visit the stunning mountain lake in the Mt Tianshan. 
Then you will be transferred to Urumqi airport to catch flight to Kashgar. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel.
Accommodation: Kashgar Tianyuan International 5-star Hotel or Similar
Meals: Breakfast, lunch
 
Day 3. Kashgar/Urumqi    Car & Flight
Day tour to visit Animal Bazaar (only on Sundays), Id Ghar Mosque, Apa Hoja Mausoleum, old town.
Catch evening flight to Urumqi.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch
 
Day 4. Urumqi/Turpan     Car
Drive to Turpan, visit the ancient City of Gaochang, Bezklik Grottoes, Eming Minaret and Karez Irrigation System. Lunch is at local Uyghur's house.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch
 
Day 5. Turpan/Dunhuang     Fast train & Car
Take a morning fast train for 4 hours from Turpan to Liuyuan where you will take 1.5-hour ride to Dunhuang. Visit the Singing Sand Dunes and Crescent Moon Spring in the afternoon.

Day 6. Dunhuang/Jiayuguan     Car
Visit the highlight of the Silk Road, Mogao Grottoes. Then you will be transferred 5 hours to Jiayuguan by car.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch
 
Day 7. Departing from Jiayuguan 
Today you will visit Jiayuguan Fortress in the morning to learn the splendid history on the Silk Road in the past. Then you will take 3 hours to Zhangye Rainbow Danxia where you will view the fantastic and colorful Danxia Mountains.
Afterwards you will be transferred to hotel in Zhangye.

Day 8. Departing from Zhangye, tour ends.
Today you will be transferred to Jiayuguan airport to catch your flight back to your destination.
